Baláž Martin

Baláž Martin | Vice President and Country Manager of Prologis in the Czech Republic and Slovakia

As Vice President and Country Manager of Prologis in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Martin Baláž is responsible for the entire Czech and Slovak company portfolio. He manages its investment projects and oversees rental activities in individual parks. He oversees all of Prologis' leasing and construction activities in both countries, as well as the company's real estate and project management activities. He joined Prologis in 2014 as Senior Manager for leasing and development in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Before that, he worked as an Associate Partner at Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the Industrial and retail department in Slovakia and the Industrial real estate department in the Czech Republic.

Josef Černý

Černý Josef | Senior WMS consultant and project manager, ICZ a.s.

Josef Černý graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, majoring in Informatics. He began to deal with logistics through programming of integrated production systems including their material supply. Between 1993 and 1999, he was the Managing Director of a company engaged in the supply of information systems for the management of warehouse and manufacturing operations. Since 2000 he has been working at ICZ a.s., where he held the position of consultant and head of logistics department. He is currently engaged in logistics consulting and development of product and project opportunities. He is a member of the Chamber of Logistic Auditors and a long-term member of the Presidium of the Czech Logistics Association.

 

Devečka Pavel

Pavel Devečka is a qualified civil engineer with 20 years of experience in the field of active fire protection. He started as a designer of stable fire-fighting equipment and over the years worked his way up to the position of technical director of an international company. He worked as the director of development and education for three years. He now applies the acquired theoretical and practical experience in the field of fire protection as a technical consultant and helps customers create sophisticated technical solutions tailored to their needs.

Drábek Dušan

Fischer Jan

Jan Fischer is an important Czech statistician, politician and economist. In the years 2009-2010, he was the 8th Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, later he became Minister of Finance and 1st Deputy Prime Minister of Jiří Rusnok. In 2013, he was a non-party candidate for president of the Czech Republic. He also served as Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in London. Jan Fischer was a member of, among others, the Czech Statistical Society, the International Statistical Institute (ISI), the scientific council and administrative board of Prague University of Economics and Business and the scientific council of Jan Evangelista Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem.

Currently, Michal is mostly devoted to the company's planned expansion not only abroad, and helping Ukrainian refugees to integrate into the work process.

Naďa joined ZF CVS (Commercial Vehicle Solutions, Transics International BV) in autumn 2021 and she is responsible for the sale of ZF/Transics brand products and services in the Czech Republic/SK. For almost 20 years, she worked at CCS Czech company for payment cards, s.r.o. (Fleetcor division) where she worked in several business positions, including managerial ones, and thus gained key experience in the field of fuel cards, telematics, tolls and management of the KAM and Acquisitions department. She participated in the expansion of services and products, including the launch of partner cooperation in the field of top-up cards and employee programs. She also has a year of experience in the health sector, where she represented the private clinic Iscara.

 

 

 

 

 

Janů Pavel

Janů Pavel | Project Manager, K2 atmitec

Pavel Janů is a graduate of the University of Economics and Business in Prague. He has been helping companies deploy and develop internal systems on the K2 platform for 17 years. In his practise as a project manager, he makes use of the experience gained during the implementation of large-scale domestic and foreign projects. He focuses on finding bottlenecks and optimizing internal company processes. His specialization are the analysis and implementation of complex solutions in the fields of production and controlled warehouses.

Jirsák Petr

Ing. Petr Jirsák, Ph.D., graduated from the Faculty of Business Administration of the University of Economics in Prague with specialisation in business economics and management and secondary specialisation in logistics – international transport and forwarding. He is a co-author of several books and many expert articles in professional journals/popular magazines and scientific journals. Aside from being a speaker on international conferences he teaches at the University of Economics and at Jönköping International Business School, Sweden. He combines his scientific, research and teaching activities with consultancy in the field of supply chain management, while focusing mainly on demand prediction, material planning, warehousing, distribution strategies and, last but not least, on supply chain automation and digitalisation.

Jakub Jonáš

Jonáš Jakub | Managing Director, Ferag CZ

The new Managing Director of Ferag CZ, Mr. Jakub Jonáš, took his current office in January 2022. His task is to expand the company's market share in the field of intralogistics on the Czech and Slovak markets. He has been working in logistics for over 10 years, he gained hands-on experience in intralogistics and 3PL logistics. This also was the field of his studies at the Jan Perner Faculty of Transport of the University of Pardubice. Beside his family and particular interest in logistics, Jakub is a big fan of travel and aviation, which he is actively involved in.

Kačírková Kateřina

Kateřina Kačírková works at MD logistika as a sales manager. She is involved mainly in communication with existing and prospect clients, and she is in charge of negotiation of transport, warehousing and valued added services contracts. She joined the company in 2009; before that she worked for several logistic and retail companies in the field of food products sales and distribution (Findus CR a.s., Teekanne s.r.o., Transkam spol.s.r.o.).

He has been in the field of logistics for more than 23 years. He worked on various management positions at MTC and Lagermax. He is currently the Director of Business and Marketing and the Procurator of Gebrüder Weiss in the Czech Republic, which he joined in 2008. In 2007, he completed his master's studies at the Czech Technical University in Prague at the Faculty of Transport Sciences, and six years later successfully completed his doctoral studies at the same university and faculty.

Kodr Jakub

Jakub Kodr is in charge of business activities of CTP, the largest industrial developer in the Czech Republic, as well as in developing relations with new and current tenants. Karel Kopeček graduated from the Prague University of Economics and Business, majoring in International Trade. He worked as the sales manager for BP CR and later as the sales and marketing manager in Berendsen CR and then as a representative of Transics for the CR and Slovakia. He currently holds the position of Country Business Manager at Webfleet Solutions.

Kovařík Milan

Ing. Milan Kovařík, MBA graduated from the university with specialisation in road and urban motor transport, and he continued his studies by an international marketing programme at the Czech Management Institute ESMA. He devoted a considerable part of his career to the field of finance, while working in management positions for example in Credit Suisse or Allianz. Since 2012 he has been focusing on occupational safety and health protection management in accordance with OHSAS 18001. He has been representing the EPAL National Committee for the Czech Republic and Slovakia since 2016. He is in charge of the overall committee operations, communication with the headquarters in Düsseldorf, cooperation with holders of the EPAL licence for EPAL pallet production or repairs, and last but not least for communication and cooperation with the Czech and Slovak public authorities.

Kožej Vlastimil

Kožej Vlastimil | Sales Director, CID International, a.s.

He started in CID International in 2000 as a sales representative, since 2010 he has been working for the company as the sales director. Vlastimil was engaged in expanding the company to the Polish market, where he among other things took an active part in implementation of logistic information systems. He has been developing and supporting sales and marketing activities of the company not only in the Czech Republic, but also in Slovakia and Poland. Before joining CID International, he worked for Allianz pojišťovna a.s. where is specialized in corporate clientele.
