Baláž Martin | Senior Vice President and Country Manager for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Prologis

As senior vice president and country manager of Prologis for the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, Martin Baláž is responsible for the entire Czech, Slovak and Hungarian portfolio of the company. He manages its investment projects and oversees rental activities in individual parks. He oversees all Prologis leasing and construction activities in the countries, as well as the company's property management and project management activities.
He joined Prologis in 2014 as senior manager for leasing and development for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Before that, he worked as an associate partner at Cushman & Wakefield, where he led the industrial and retail space department in Slovakia and the industrial real estate department in the Czech Republic.

Bláha Jan | Forwarding Director, PST CLC

He has been working for PST CLC for over 8 years. The last 5 years in the position of director of the transport division. Thanks to the merger with the Japanese company Mitsu Soko, PST CLC is one of the global players in the market providing comprehensive logistics services. During his 18 years of experience in the field of transportation, he has gained experience from several companies such as Nippon Express, Gebrüder Weiss or Hellmann Worldwide Logistics. At PST CLC, he focuses on the development of services in sea, air and land transport, both road and rail. He completed a bachelor's degree in financial management at J.E. Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem.

Černý Josef | Senior WMS consultant and project manager, ICZ a.s.

RNDr. Josef Černý graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, majoring in Informatics. He began to deal with logistics through programming of integrated production systems including their material supply. Between 1993 and 1999, he was the Managing Director of a company engaged in the supply of information systems for the management of warehouse and manufacturing operations. Since 2000 he has been working at ICZ a.s., where he held the position of consultant and head of logistics department. He is currently engaged in logistics consulting and development of product and project opportunities. He is a member of the Chamber of Logistic Auditors and a long-term member of the Presidium of the Czech Logistics Association.

Hloska Jiří | project engineer and consultant in the field of simulation of production and logistics processes SDZ GmbH

He completed postgraduate studies in Automotive and Transportation Engineering at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Brno University of Technology, during which he worked on an internship within the ERASMUS program at TU Duisburg-Essen, Lehrstuhl für Technische Logistik. He is also a graduate of the Faculty of Transport of the Czech Technical University in Prague. Since 2012, he has represented the company iSILOG GmbH on the Central European market, specializing in the optimization of production and logistics processes, and since 2015 he has worked as a specialist in dynamic simulation in the company EDAG PS CZ. Since graduating, he has participated in dozens of projects for Škoda Auto and other industrial companies in the Czech Republic and abroad focused on planning and optimizing production and logistics systems. Since 2020, he has represented SDZ GmbH in the Czech Republic and at the same time participates in logistics projects for European customers. In addition, he is responsible for communication with partners and clients in the Czech Republic.

Hromíř Vojtěch | Secretary General, ČESMAD Bohemia

Vojtěch Hromíř is a graduate of the Charles University in Prague and has more than twenty years of experience in the field of road transport. He has been the General Secretary of the largest Czech association of carriers since 2014. He is a member of the Council for Freight Transport of the International Road Transport Union (IRU) and the President of its Committee for the European Union. He works with the Faculty of Transport of the Czech Technical University in Prague and the University of Logistics. His activities are aimed at the benefit of Czech road hauliers, to ensure adequate conditions for their business. The main topics of these days are COVID and its consequences, taxes and levies, human resources, the Green Deal and digitization.

Kovařík Jan | Owner of Data Software Brno

Kubina Tomáš | Director of Logistics for the Prague region at Česká pošta

Tomáš Kubina works as the Director of Logistics for the Prague region at Česká pošta. He joined the company in September last year and, in addition to managing the logistics of delivering parcels and letters, he is heavily involved in the systemic changes that are taking place in Česká pošta in this area. The result should be a much more efficient structure and way of serving customers, who should receive their shipments on time and in a way that suits them. Tomáš has devoted his entire professional life to logistics, production optimization and crisis management, and has worked on projects for Škoda Auto, Avtovaz or Kamaz. He has been a consultant for the Czech company Logio for over six years. Tomáš graduated from Tomas Bata University in Zlín, Faculty of Management and Economics, majoring in Industrial Engineering. His own working credo is the motto that quality can always be moved higher.

LaRue Christopher | Head of Industrial Agency Czech & Slovak Republics, Savills

Christopher LaRue has 15 years of experience in the real estate and industrial sector, including more than ten years on the agency side and nearly five years in manufacturing and ecommerce. Chris joins Savills from US technical power solutions firm, where he was operations and international sales manager. Amongst others, he was responsible for the European distribution center in Prague and for the company’s international sales performance in EMEA and APAC. Before that, Chris was an associate partner in the industrial team of an international real estate company, also based in Prague.

Mojdl David | Sales&Project Manager, KARDEX

David Mojdl has worked for KARDEX for over 15 years. Last 8 years in the position of Sales & Project Manager. During his more than 15 years of experience at KARDEX, he gained experience in the field and realized several large contracts in the Czech Republic.

Ondráček Lukáš | Country Manager CZ / SK, DKV Euro Service

Lukáš Ondráček was appointed the head of the Czech and Slovak branch of DKV Euro Service in the end of 2018. Before that he worked for Trost Auto Service Technik from 2004, where he became the executive director in 2011, being in charge for successful development of wholesale of spare parts for both commercial and passenger vehicles sold to more than 2,000 clients in the Czech Republic.  He started as a diagnostic tools and garage equipment specialist in the company. As a DKV management team member he is responsible for continuous market share increasing and successful fleet client market entry. He graduated from the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague with specialisation in road transport.

Paetzmann Raimund | VP Corporate Real Estate, Zalando SE

Raimund Paetzmann is VP Corporate Real Estate at Zalando SE in Berlin and focuses on Logistic network planning, Retail and Office Portfolio Management, Construction & Architecture, Workplace/New Work, He joined Zalando in 2017 to support the growth of the Corporate Real Estate portfolio (office, retail, and logistics).Raimund has 22 years experience in e-commerce. Previously to joining Zalando he built and led the Amazon EMEA real estate team (1999-2016), which was involved in the strategic network planning and design of the European Fulfillment Network. He has pioneered introducing new buildings and a new type of advanced e-commerce logistics network across Europe He also contributed significantly to the new generation of European Fulfillment Warehouse types. Since June 2018, he has also been Deputy Chairman of the Logistics Real Estate Committee of the German Property Federation ZIA and Board member of the German Brownfield Association DEBV.

Pihar Jan | Managing Director of DACHSER Czech Republic

Jan Pihar has linked up his entire professional career with logistics. From 2019 Jan Pihar was appointed Managing Director of DACHSER Czech Republic. Jan Pihar studied at the Faculty of Management and Economics of the Brno University of Technology. After graduating he participated in a study exchange programme in the USA. In 2004 he was behind the establishment of the DACHSER Břeclav branch, where he acted as the Branch Manager. In 2008 he was named the General Manager of the DACHSER Kladno branch.

Popek Damian | Manager of Special Transport Department at ESA logistika

He graduated from the University of Economics in Katowice and then continued his postgraduate studies at the Warsaw School of Economics. Since 2013, he has been working as the Business Unit Manager of Special Transport Department at ESA Logistika Poland, where he is responsible for business development in the heavy industry market, planning and budget execution, project management and quality policy of project logistics.

Rumler Miroslav | Managing Partner, RELIANT

Miroslav Rumler graduated from the Faculty of Foreign Trade of the University of Economics in Prague.  He started his career in INSPEKTA a.s., a foreign trading company. Between 1991 and 1992 he studied for his postgraduate degree at the State University of Illinois in Champaign-Urbana in the United States, where he subsequently worked as an external consultant for The Limited Distribution Services Ltd., Columbus, Ohio. On his return from overseas, Miroslav started as the Country Operations Manager with Maccorp Holdings Ltd., a British financial company seated in London operating a network of branches all around Europe. Since 1994, he has been working for Reliant s.r.o., a professional training and consultancy company in the field of transport, forwarding and logistics. He is the managing partner of Reliant s.r.o.

Slečka Martin | Analyst and insurance claim assessor, SATUM CZECH

Having graduated from VOŠ AHOL College in Ostrava in 1998, he started his career in SATUM CZECH s.r.o. as a broker in the transport risk division, where he worked till 2002. In 2002 and 2003 he stayed abroad repeatedly. After his return from abroad he continued his work for SATUM CZECH s.r.o. where he specialises in training, consultancy and processing of claims connected with freight transport.

Sovička Pavel | General Manager, Panattoni Europe, Czech Republic and Slovakia

Pavel Sovicka started his business career in Cushman & Wakefield where he spent 10 years in total. Since 2008 he has been leading Panattoni Europe as the Managing Director for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. He has 20 years of experience in the industry in the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary. He was engaged in transactions representing 1,500,000 m2 of leased and sold premises. The key projects managed by Pavel Sovicka include for example Panattoni Park Prague Airport I and II, the Amazon distribution centre in Dobrovíz (the largest leased industrial building in the Czech Republic having the area of 120 000 m2), Panattoni Park D5 / Stříbro and Panattoni Park Cheb with Tchibo as the most important tenant (the second largest leased building in the Czech Republic, 75 000 m2).

Štrupl Jiří | Managing Director 4AVs.eu

Jiří Štrupl, born in Hradec Králové, where he used a bicycle as a means of transport for all occasions, including year-round daily rides to the local Božena Němcová grammar school with a special focus on programming. Shortly after graduating from the Faculty of Transport at the Czech Technical University (vehicle design under the direction of V. Král) in Prague, he worked at Highgate Private Hospital in London as a designer of database systems. The bicycle survived as a daily means of transport even after returning to Prague in 2003, where he started a family and the bicycles had to be modified for the transport of children and bicycles of community bikesharing. After professional success in the position of head of the software department at TTC, he decided to establish his own company 4AVs.eu with colleagues from the faculty and work in 2010. Since then, the company has been engaged not only in the development of its own cargo bikes, but also in their operation, including the development of software for cycling applications.

Včela Pavel | Division Manager, GLS CZ

Pavel has been managing the GLS branch for more than twelve years. Before that he worked in management of companies supplying parts to global car manufacturers for 15 years. “Securing the top quality of services under the conditions of extreme growth of transported volumes is a challenge comparable to the boom of the Czech automotive industry in the 1990s and e-shop logistics is becoming a highly sophisticated industry.”  

Vohanka Marian | Sales Director, Balíkobot

Marian Vohanka is a professional having more than 20 years of experience in the field of sales. He founded the Major department in Bisnode and launched new products to the market. At present he works for Balíkobot as a sales director, combining his long-year experience from the sales of data with technology and logistics.
