Baláž Martin | Vice-president & Country Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Prologis
As the vice-president and country manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia, Martin Baláž is in charge or the entire Czech and Slovak portfolio of the company. He also manages the company’s investment projects and lease activities in distribution parks. He supervises all the leasing and construction activities as well as activities in the field of real property management and project management; he also manages investment projects and park lease processes in the period that is crucial in terms of where Prologis will be heading to in the future. Martin Baláž joined Prologis in 2014 and became a senior manager for leasing and development in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Before that he worked as the associate partner in Cushman & Wakefield, where he headed the department of industrial and retail premises in Slovakia and the department of industrial property in the Czech Republic. Martin has a Construction and Real Estate MBA degree from the College of Estate Management in Reading, United Kingdom.
Bílý Michal | Sales Director, GS1 CZECH REPUBLIC
Mr. Michal Bílý began his career in one of the state enterprises for the production of foodstuffs after the finalization of his studies at the Technical University of Chemistry (specialization of macromolecular chemistry) in 1977. His first activities were realized on the field of development and purchase of packaging materials. The packaging materials, packaging techniques, wraps, designs and marketing were the main focuses of his working activities in most of the following years. As a result of his many years spent being a manager of the purchase department and a sales director, he gained accurate and specific skills and methods in this field. After another few years holding the same position in a Belgian firm, he acquired a vision of the European context as well. He has been working for GS1 Czech Republic from 2006, where he is also using his long-term experience as a previous member of the Board of this organization.

Marek Cvačka graduated from the Faculty of Transport of the Czech Technical University in Prague and worked in the transport and logistic divisions of Letiště Praha, IKEA and Datart International. Before joining ESA logistika he held the position of the Global Logistics Sourcing Manager in the multinational group Danone.

Bohuslav Černý has been working for Schoeller Allibert since 1999; at first as a sales representative, later as a key account manager. In 2013 he became the Sales Manager for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2016 he was appointed the Business Development Manager Automotive CEE, and since 2017 he has been working as the Key Account Manager focusing on the most important clients. RNDr. Josef Černý graduated from the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University, majoring in Informatics. He began to deal with logistics through programming of integrated production systems including their material supply. Between 1993 and 1999, he was the Managing Director of a company engaged in the supply of information systems for the management of warehouse and manufacturing operations. Since 2000 he has been working at ICZ a.s., where he held the position of consultant and head of logistics department. He is currently engaged in logistics consulting and development of product and project opportunities. He is a member of the Chamber of Logistic Auditors and a long-term member of the Presidium of the Czech Logistics Association.
Dobešová Renata | Sales Director, EKOBAL
She graduated from the University of Finance and Administration in Prague with specialisation in Business Management and Finance. Since 1998 she has been working for EKOBAL s.r.o., a leading manufacturer of packaging technology and supplier of packaging materials. She became the sales director in 2003, being in charge of implementation and development of the company’s business and sales strategy, including new product launches, long-term strategic projects, and overall organization of the central warehouse logistics or logistic operations optimisation. She will come to share her 20+ year experience from the packaging industry and talk about the topic related to the current draft of a legislation amendment extending the shipper’s responsibility for load security.

The Antwerp Port Authority has enlarged the network of its representatives abroad with a new delegate for the Central and Eastern Europe. Since March 1, 2017 Mr. Martin Hubeňák represents the Antwerp Port Authority at the local markets in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and in Poland. One of his many tasks will be improving the perception of the Antwerp Port Authority brand as well as broadening of railway connections network between the Antwerp Port Authority and the above-mentioned countries of the Central and Eastern Europe. Ing. Petr Jahoda, M.B.A. graduated from the University of Economics, Prague with specialisation in Business Economics and Management and completed his MBA studies at the Rochester Institute of Technology.
